Your meetings

muet processes meeting audio, transcripts, AI summaries, and speaker recognition on your Mac. Recordings, notes, actions, and saved voice profiles are stored locally. Meeting content is not sent to a cloud AI service for processing.

You control what you record, export, and share. Deleting a meeting removes its recording from the app’s library. Exports and backups you create remain wherever you saved them.

Connections from the app

The app connects to download models and check for software updates. These requests can share connection information, such as your IP address and app version, with the relevant service. The speech SDK may also send usage telemetry; this is separate from your locally processed meeting content.

This website

This site does not use advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Your light or dark appearance preference is saved in your browser’s local storage. You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser data. The interactive demo uses fictional dialogue and does not access your microphone.

The website’s hosting service may process routine connection information to deliver pages and keep the service secure.

Purchases and contact

If you purchase a licence, the payment provider handles your payment information under its own privacy policy. muet stores the email address used at checkout together with the payment provider’s customer identifier in its licensing database. We use this information to provide and support your licence, associate purchases and renewals, and contact you about the service.

We do not store your card details. Any information you otherwise choose to send to muet is used to respond to your request and provide the service you asked for.

Your choices and rights

You can manage recordings and exports on your Mac, revoke audio permissions in macOS Settings, and clear this site’s local storage. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal data held about you, object to its use, or contact your data-protection authority.
